Four minute ride from the marina.

Dive site is located off the island power plant, one mile south of the hotel.

Type of mooring: fixed line with pick up line on a float ball.

Site briefing: The depth under the boat is fifty feet with a mostly sand bottom. The wall lies behind the boat and is a ridge of coral rising from the fifty foot depth in the sand to 40 or 35 feet at the edge of the wall. A 250 section of the wall drops vertically to over 500 feet. There is a corner to the wall slightly south of the boat that is marked by a large pillar coral head. This area has the lower plateau at 100 feet and there is a swivel chair in the sand at 110 feet. The deep section of the wall from 70 to 120 feet has numerous encrusting rope sponges and some huge elephant ear sponges. Lots of interesting small creatures including anemones, blennies and nudibranchs can be found on the ridge or sand.

How to dive it: swim the length of the ridge on the drop off side and the sand side and finish up the dive in the corner area or the coral heads in the sand near the boat.

We go there: usually as a second dive.
